Apply for FEMA Youth Preparedness Council

FEMA is looking for a few youth who are excited about preparedness and want to be leaders. FEMA’s Youth Preparedness Council members have an opportunity to share their enthusiasm for, and ideas and opinions about, promoting emergency preparedness and inspiring people to take action. The application period for the 2022 Youth Preparedness Council (YPC) just opened on January 24, 2022.

Applicants will be selected for their interest in helping other people, their schools, and their communities to prepare for emergencies and disasters. YPC members are known for their leadership skills and for their ability to work as a team. New YPC members must be in the 8th through 11th grades.
